So, this weekend I am getting together with a group of people I've only gotten together with a few times, but each time has been very positive. I had to maneuver a bit to get childcare for the kids, but it will be *SO* worth it.
I love that this group is always very organized and very serious about their work, and yet they balance it with elements of fun and whimsy. They take an educated approach to what they do, and so there's a sense of ...a higher level of sophistication than with some other groups. It's not that I need sophistication each time, but my very scientific mind does crave it frequently.
I'm looking forward to it more than I can say...
