We just *LOVE* history in our house. We love exploring places, items and ideas from times past. My husband and I are avid readers of history (both non-fiction and historical fiction - or even just stories that take place in a past era) and we also love to listen to lectures on our ipods (through the Learning Company).
Today I wanted to post about a great website I found that is dedicated to Learning Through History. You can sign up for the newsletter here. I would say that the content is for grade 3 through 12, but probably would be best geared for middle school and up.
This most recent newsletter has info on the Irish Potato Famine, with info, links and book suggestions.
