Oh Tannenbaum....
We finally got a live tree this year, mainly because our artifical one was beginning to look a little too "Charlie Brown" for our tastes.
One of my favorite ornaments!
A simple, handmade ornament made from folding wrapping paper and hanging it on yarn.
LL Bean boots, anyone?
This was a handmade replica of my best friend's church where she and her husband got married
My mom made this many years ago. She used to sell them at craft fairs.
Another example of the ornaments my mom made out of beads
Our friend Norene made this for us, knowing that we love the movie The Snowman
This is a commemorative ornament to honor The Million Dollar Bridge that used to connect Portland, Maine with South Portland, Maine. It was torn down in 1997 and replaced with a larger and higher bridge (the old one was a draw bridge that would open to allow tall ships through, stopping traffic for several long minutes).
I made these salt dough ornaments when I was a little girl
Bless this house, and may your own be blessed during this holiday season!
