Barred Owl
Last week, I had the AMAZING experience of being visited by this beautiful owl. It was daytime, so I'm sure he must be very hungry to venture so close to a home in search of food. For me, however, it seemed like he was there for ME, and to give me some messages. Whatever your belief, a visit by such a beautiful creature is a profoundly wonderful experience. For our family, we decided to use it as a catalyst to study owls.
We then read up on owl wisdom and symbolism here. We did a basic internet search to discover what owls, especially the Barred Owl, eat, what their habits are, and other interesting facts. We had a really wonderful time learning all about owls!
So, at the end of the day....whatever 'message' this owl was trying to send to me personally, for our family the message was clear: there are so many fun things to learn about owls!
